Finally after three weeks, we've finally reached the finals of Pesta Pantun 2013 like yay! The schools which made it to the finals are Tampines JC, Republic Poly and Madrasah Wak Tanjong. I'll be honest, they're all really good. From the way they present their pantun, and their pantun itself to their stage presence to their taditional costumes and everything, they were simply awesome (definitely there's room for improvement but five stars for the effort and courage)! And I really have to salute the schools' supporters; they gave the teams moral support and they were all sporting! Love the atmosphere and it feels like every team was set and ready to fight their way to becoming the champions! There was also a number of familiar faces (like the RP debaters in the third photo above) in the audience hee.
Me and Nasri were the emcees for today! I totally love sharing the limelight with Nasri cause he's just simply, Nasri. Mehehehehe~ we stood from the start of the competition all the way till the end and I almost died cause I was in a pair of wedges (for the sole reason I don't want to be looking so puny at the front and standing next to Nasri) and Nasri on the other hand was so thirsty all the time cause he said a few his lines in one breath. Before the start of the event itself, we were so frickin nervous as firstly we were confused with the cue cards (lol, epic phail but thank goodness for my purdy xoom2), and we couldn't have the podium down where we had to stand. It was nervewrecking! Worse than the days we were going for debate competition. Honestly, it was worth the pain, worth the exhaustion and worth the nervousness cause we had so much fun emceeing!

Okay enough babbling! Don't you wonder which school is crowned champions this year? Heehee as you can see above the title goes to... the ever so calm Madrasah Wak Tanjong Al-Islamiah! YAYYYYY GAISE CONGRATULATIONS.
It was such an emotional moment when their supporters were cheering so loudly, praising the Almighty for the blessing! I almost cried heeeh yes it was that overwhelming. Brings me back to team Millennia's glory days yay yay. Would totally go through the whole ardous journey one more time with the other three lovelies. Mehehehe I. NEED. TO. STOP. SIDETRACKING. Anyway after the whole thinggy end, me and Nasri didn't do much but sat on the stage while people-watching and just simply resting our oh-so-tired legs, while waiting for Hazz and Shaikh to be done with their duties. Oh my dearest cousin, Mujahid helped out too as a logistic crew during the competition! Thanks bruh, appreciate it (:

After which everything ended, we had dinner together (and we literally had our own mini photoshoot since we discovered good lighting hee - and totally love how the boys did my favourite moose head pose)! Yummy foods making the tummy happy. Came home to purdy pastel skirts (yay thank you mumsy), and lots and lots of happy feelings. And that pretty much sums up my pretty Sunday. Hope your Sunday was all pretty too cupcakes. Now goodnight mehehehehe,
